Excellent choice for traveling to Mount Athos / Close to the Pilgrims' Office
We visited from Athens to travel to Mount Athos the following morning. The room was spotless, comfortable, and air-conditioned. The hotel's location is ideal, as it sits right across from the pilgrims' bureau (Diamonitiria office), which was incredibly convenient. Mrs. Evdokia was exceptionally helpful and kind; she even provided us with cold water for our return journey. Highly recommended.

We were highly satisfied with our stay at Prosforio Rooms & Apartments. The location is perfect, situated right across from the pilgrims' bureau (Diamonitiria office) and the ticket office for the ferry boats to Mount Athos. The room was very clean; daily housekeeping was provided, including emptying the bins and replacing towels with fresh ones. Mrs. Evdokia is extremely kind and always eager to offer helpful information whenever we asked. She even provided us with cold water for our return journey. We wholeheartedly recommend it.
Great stay with excellent amenities and wonderful hospitality / The host was amazing and very helpful
We stayed at Prosforio Rooms & Apartments in early September. The hotel is located right on the main street at the entrance of the town. There are a few parking spots outside, and a paid parking lot is available right across the street. The hotel is small but very clean. Linens were changed every two days. Although the room is cozy, it has everything you need, including an iron, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The balcony is spacious and features a drying rack for towels, which is a rare and useful find. We loved having breakfast on the balcony; there is a great bakery just across the road.Mrs. Evdokia is a lovely person, always helpful and informative. The sea in Ouranoupoli is crystal clear—much cleaner than in Perea, even if slightly cooler. While there is no beach in the town center, there are great spots just a 5-7 minute drive away; we visited Akrathos Beach and Anemos Beach (which is a bit pricier). Highly recommended.

The reason for this rating is not related to luxury or amenities but to the cleanliness and convenience of the place. Evdokia the owner is the most gracious host I have ever met. I would have no reason for staying anywhere else before a trip to the Holy Mountain
