▼ How far is Prosforio Rooms from the Mount Athos Pilgrims' Office and the port?
Our guesthouse is ideally located just 40-50 meters away, about a 1-minute walk, from the Mount Athos Pilgrims' Office and the ticket offices. The main port of Ouranoupoli is also very close.
▼ What types of rooms are available at Prosforio Rooms?
Prosforio Rooms offers comfortable and extremely clean accommodation options including Standard Double Rooms, Comfort Triple Studios and a spacious Family Apartment equipped with private kitchenettes.
▼ Can I leave my luggage at the property during my stay at Mount Athos?
Yes. We offer secure, complimentary luggage storage for all guests during their stay on the Holy Mountain so you only have to carry your essential backpack.
▼ Is breakfast available or included in the stay?
Our guesthouse does not serve breakfast, but we’ve got you covered. With the special discount card you will find in your room, you can enjoy your breakfast at the bakery-cafe next door at a privileged price.
▼ Are pets allowed at Prosforio Rooms?
Small dogs are welcome upon request, free of charge. For the comfort of all our guests, pets must always be supervised by their owners, must remain clean and must not cause any disturbance.
▼ What amenities are included in the rooms?
All rooms and apartments feature air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV 32", a refrigerator, a kettle, a hairdryer, a private bathroom and a balcony with sea or mountain views.
▼ Is there parking available on-site for my car?
Due to our ultra-central location (40 meters from the Pilgrims' Office), we do not have a private parking lot on-site, but parking is very straightforward. You can drive right up to Prosforio Rooms for easy luggage and guest drop-off before parking. Free street parking is available in front of or near the property; however, if no street spots are available, the secure municipal parking lot located just 60-70 meters away is your alternative option for a small fee, making it ideal for keeping your vehicle safe during your stay or pilgrimage.
▼ What are the Check-in and Check-out times?
Standard Check-in starts at 15:00, and Check-out must be completed by 11:00. Luggage storage is available if you arrive early or depart late.
▼ How can I get there from Thessaloniki Airport "Makedonia"?
For your transfer, you can choose either a direct trip by taxi (which we can arrange for you) or the KTEL Chalkidiki bus to Ouranoupoli. In the latter case, you will need to take a taxi to the KTEL bus station and get off at the "Diamonitiria" stop in Ouranoupoli, as our accommodation is located directly opposite.
▼ Is the property suitable for guests with mobility issues or other special needs?
Unfortunately, our property does not have the appropriate infrastructure (e.g. elevator, wheelchair ramp, etc.) or specialized staff to accommodate guests with mobility issues or other special needs requiring particular care/supervision. We're happy to answer any questions before you book.
